Belco
Packaging Systems of Monrovia, California announces the addition
of two new precision Medical Pouch Sealers, the PM EL 18 and the
PM PLC 18. They are designed to meet clean room packaging requirements
for sealing a variety of pre-made pouches. The EL model accommodates
the needs of non-implantable device manufacturers. The PLC model
provides a higher level of process control, plus ten package set-up
memories, security password protection and an air system pressure
validation program
Both
are constant heat validatable jaw sealers assuring high level
process control. Each features an 18" seal bar length x 3/8" seal
width and comes standard with stainless steel enclosures. They
utilize a Teflon coated seal head thus eliminating the maintenance
time and costs normally required to change out Teflon fabrics.
The two
models offer industry leading 'seal bar' temperature accuracy.
Four Temperature Validation Ports allow profiling and monitoring
across the entire seal bar assuring accurate process validation
of seal temperature.
The PM
PLC offers System Alarms for temperature and pressure and disable
the machine cycling when out of specified tolerances.
Options
include autoclavable sterilization capability for stringent clean
room requirements. Other seal lengths and widths are available.
Belco's
new Medical Pouch Sealers are built to the same high quality design
standards as their well known Medical Tray Sealer and Shrink Packaging
Systems product line.
